happy victoria day long weekend fellow canadians. mr. train, i won’t be needing your services today.

on my way into work, following some light rain, this little fella almost introduced himself to the bottom of my shoe. thankfully they didn’t become acquaintances, but got to meet my camera instead.

the geometrics and shades attracted me to this so i had to take a photo

one thing i notice in the spring is when the city parks turn their fountains back on again. in the later months of the summer i no longer notice, but after a long dull winter it’s a reminder of how great the summer is.

i believe this is a cherry blossom tree. i’ve heard lots of people talking about “you have to see the cherry blossoms at high park. they’re only out for a week”. well this one was just down the street, so i didn’t have to travel nearly as far.
